 Roanoke: I81 north
to exit 264. Make right and take road till it ends (about 1 mile)
Make right onto 211 East. Go over mountains down other side to sign
for 340 South. Make right. Go 3 miles to sign 340 Business North,
Stanley. Make Left and go 5 miles to DR's Shell Station, make right.
We are at top of hill.
DC area: Rt. 66 West to Exit 13. Make left then right at
light. Follow that road until it ends, at traffic light (T) MAKE
left onto 340 South thru Front Royal and 23 miles to Luray. See
Luray Caverns signs and DO NOT TURN. Rt. 340 becomes 340 Business
south. Take for 6 more miles to Exxon. After Exxon see sign for 624,
make left. To STOP, make Right onto Marksville ROAD, WHICH turns
into Chapel Road. We are 1/2 mile down on right.
DC area: Rt. 29 south to 211 West. Pass Sperryville,
over Thornton Gap, into Luray, pass Days Inn, take exit for 340
Business South. Make left and take 6 miles to EXXON. See sign for
624, make left. To Stop make right onto Marksville Road which turns
into Chapel Road. We are 1/2 mile down.
Baltimore area: I-70 West toward Frederick where you take
Highway 340 south toward Berryville but sign reads 340 West. Continue on Highway 340, go
through Front Royal, and continue to Luray. At the light in Luray
(Methodist Church on your right), continue straight ahead. Rt 340
becomes 340 Business South. Take for 6 more miles to Exxon. Just
past Exxon see sign for 624, make a Left & go to STOP sign. Make a
Right onto Marksville Road which turns into Chapel Road. We are 1/2
mile down on Right. (Exxon may be closed after 10 pm).
From Interstate 81: Exit 264 at New Market, follow signs
for 211 East through New Market. Go over mountain and down other
side. At SIGN FOR 340 South. Make a right and go 3 miles to sign for
340 Business North, Stanley. Make a Left and go 5 miles through
Stanley. Make a right at the DR's Shell Station and we are at the
top of the hill on the left.
Norfolk: I 64 West to exit 99. Make left and continue
down hill to traffic light. Make right onto 340 North. Travel for
about 40 miles ( you're close when you pass Page Valley High School)
See sign for 340 business north, Stanley. Make right, go 5 miles to
DR's Shell Station, make right. We are at top of the hill.
Richmond: I 64 West to exit 99. Make left and continue down
hill to traffic light. Make right onto 340 North. Travel for about
40 miles ( you're close when you pass Page Valley High School) SEE
sign for 340 business north, Stanley. Make right, go 5 miles to DR's
Shell Station, make right. We are at top of the hill.
Optional Route from Norfolk or Richmond: I-64 West. Take Exit
136 (Highway 15 to Highway 33 west toward Shenandoah National Park).
Continue on 33 over the mountain. Go north (right) at Elkton on 340.
Continue through Shenandoah. After passing Shenandoah, about 10-12
miles later, look for sign for 340 Business North to Stanley. Make a
right and go about 5 miles to DR's Shell Station and make a right.
We are at the top of the hill on your left.
Scenic from Skyline Drive North or South: to exit for 211 West,
Luray. Take 211 West past Days Inn to exit for 340 Business South.
Make left onto 340 Business South and take for 6 MILES to Exxon.
After Exxon see sign for 624, make left. To STOP, make Right onto
Marksville ROAD, WHICH turns into Chapel Road. We are 1/2 mile down
on right.
Charlottesville: Highway 29 north out of Charlottesville. Left
on Highway 33, over the mountain. North on Highway 340 to Elkton and
Shenandoah. Continue on 340 north. After passing Shenandoah, about
10-12 miles later, look for sign for 340 Business North to Stanley.
Make a right and go about 5 miles to DR's Shell Station and make a
right. We are at the top of the hill on your left.
